The quarter was distraught as he told thevoicenews.net

“My neighbourhood was very quiet yesterday. There was no problem here. Our quarter was always very peaceful. The military has never been coming deep inside the quarter like this. I don’t know what caused the raid. But the military vehicle just came and they picked these young men and took them away. These boys were very peaceful.  If these boys were guilty of anything, they should be taken to the state counsel not. You can’t just waste lives of young people like this. How can they take children from Mankon to Nkwen? The administration should investigate the army truck that came here yesterday.”
