One person shot in a cross fire between military and non state fighters has now died in hospital in Mamfe, in Manyu Division. Three others were also wounded by stray bullets during the gun battle on Wednesday night along the Mamfe-Ekok road. It happened at Taboh village.
A trusted source has told The Voice that one of the wounded men in critical condition has this morning been evacuated to Limbe thanks to the urgent intervention of Doctors Without Borders ambulance service in Mamfe.
Meanwhile, it appears non of the fighters on both sides were killed. All those affected were passengers in a vehicle that happen need to be at the scene at the wrong time.
