Cameroon: Nera-10 Barrister Shufai Blaise Rushed To Hospital Under Critical Condition

One of the Nera-10 Kondengue-tenants, Barrister Shufai Blaise, is in a very critical condition.

Rushed to the military hospital Yaoundè this Saturday May 16, 2020, the communication and media chairman for the defense team of Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and other anglophone detainees disclosed that the Barrister has been ill for over 10 days now.

According to him, Barrister Shufai, has been on drips for the past three days…..”“The treatment he received from the infirmary has been largely inadequate”.

A source inside the security maximum prisons told Laarry’s News Room, that for these past few days, the prisoners have been suffering from malaria and typhoid as diagnosed at the prison’s infirmary.

With no signs of improvements while on treatment, his lawyers insists that he was only rushed to hospital when the situation became critical as his legs began dangling.

“He continues to complain of acute stomach ache upon arrival in the hospital this morning many clinical exams were run on him” he added.

Earlier, Sisiku Ayuk Julius, leader of the unrecognized Southern Cameroons virtual Republic, disclosed that their lives is at grave danger as a result of the poor prison sanitary conditions despite the advent of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

It is worth recalling that Barrister Shufai Blaise, was slammed a life sentence by the military court in Yaounde, Cameroon’s national capital in 2019, alongside Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and other Southern Cameroon leaders arrested in Nigeria and extradited to Cameroon.
