African Women At Risk of Death In Lebanon

Photos of domestic workers living in a small room in Lebanon.

The women are among thousands of stranded migrant domestic workers who have been evicted from their employers’ homes amid the economic crisis in Lebanon and have pleaded with their (Nigerian) government to repatriate them.

Women have been victims of the abusive “Kafala” (sponsorship) system which allows conditions akin to slavery.

Many were denied food and health care, denied wages and confiscated passports, forced to work 24/7, and suffered physical and sexual abuse.

These ladies ask you to circulate the images to alert the authorities of their countries … !!!
